Cat-cow

Move your back gently between rounded and lengthened positions.

How to do it

  1. Begin on hands and knees with your weight evenly supported.
  2. Round your back slowly as your head follows the movement.
  3. Reverse gently, staying within a comfortable range.

Form check

Avoid forcing your neck upward or pushing into pain.

Make it easier

Try a seated version with hands resting on your thighs.

Move within a comfortable range and keep breathing. Stop if a movement causes pain or you feel unwell. Ask a qualified trainer for help with unfamiliar equipment.
