Heel digs

Use alternating heel taps to get your legs moving.

How to do it

  1. Stand with soft knees.
  2. Place one heel a short distance ahead with the toes lifted.
  3. Bring it back and alternate sides at an easy pace.

Form check

Keep the movement small enough to stay balanced.

Make it easier

Hold a fixed support and move one foot at a time.

Move within a comfortable range and keep breathing. Stop if a movement causes pain or you feel unwell. Ask a qualified trainer for help with unfamiliar equipment.
