Incline plank

Practice a steady body line with hands elevated.

How to do it

  1. Place your hands on a fixed bench and step feet back.
  2. Keep your body long without dropping your hips.
  3. Breathe normally, then step closer before relaxing.

Form check

Finish the hold as soon as steady positioning becomes difficult.

Make it easier

Use a higher surface such as a wall.

Move within a comfortable range and keep breathing. Stop if a movement causes pain or you feel unwell. Ask a qualified trainer for help with unfamiliar equipment.
