Seated hamstring stretch
Fold gently toward a lengthened leg from a stable chair.
How to do it
- Sit near the front of a chair and extend one leg with the heel grounded.
- Keep your back long and tip forward a little from the hips.
- Return upright and switch sides.
Form check
A mild stretch is enough; do not reach for your toes by rounding your back.
Make it easier
Leave the extended knee slightly bent.
Move within a comfortable range and keep breathing. Stop if a movement causes pain or you feel unwell. Ask a qualified trainer for help with unfamiliar equipment.
