Seated hip rotation
Gently rotate one hip from a supported seat.
How to do it
- Sit tall with knees bent and feet on the floor.
- Keep one knee roughly in place and move that foot a little inward and outward.
- Return and switch legs.
Form check
Keep the movement at the hip without forcing the knee.
Make it easier
Make the foot movement smaller.
Move within a comfortable range and keep breathing. Stop if a movement causes pain or you feel unwell. Ask a qualified trainer for help with unfamiliar equipment.
